One great lesson to be learned by the born-again Christian is that God has His own way of working out His will in our lives. Here is a side of truth we don't necessarily like to hear. (Discussing Bible truths is like climbing a mountain. You climb up one side and have one view, but you climb up another side and have another view.) The Bible says, concerning Jesus, that He was perfected by the things He suffered. The Book of Hebrews tells us: HEBREWS 5:8,9 8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he suffered; 9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him. When we get into this area of suffering, people get tangled up. They have done the same thing with suffering as they have done with the subject of prayer.
