As a child, I was impressed as the saints would stand and request prayer for various problems. They would mention individuals who were sick and needed healing. They would ask others to pray for their respective needs. Everyone was asked to agree together and pray for answers to the needs. I started attending Sunday School at a very early age. I began reading the Bible and studying the Word of God when I was eight years old. I was told God knew everything and could do everything. I believed that then, and I still do. As a child I wondered—if God knows everything and can do everything —why do Christians have to ask other Christians to pray for specific needs? Why doesn't God just solve the problem without being asked? He knows it should be done. Perhaps this is a question you have asked yourself. It is something I hope to deal with in this message. Possibly a great many questions will be answered concerning the relationship between God and the human race.
